| There always are on any forum where the car in discussion is not one on which the forum is based. However, I never compared my audi to my z. I figured that since I own both, I could suggestively toss out opinions on both of the cars. -On the topic of weight, the S4 weighs ~3600, about 100 lbs more than the 300, and it has a full back seat and 2 extra doors. -To be completely honest, the S4 is the closest thing to a 4 door sedan AWD version of the 300zx. It's the only sedan even remotely sexy, although as BlitZ correctly established, doesn't hold a candle to the z... -Doubtless, there are plenty of z's that can beat s4's, and plenty of s4's that can beat z's. I've spent quite a bit of time switching between this forum and audizine, and i've seen anywhere from 15 second cars to 10 second cars on both forums... -As for me, I can be beat in either car, as I'm sure most of your cars are faster than mine, so you don't have to flex your nuts, cause i'm sure they're bigger... -However, as I'm sure many of you are itching to bash some lil rich bastard on here, cause you chase most of them off before they get a chance to shoot to shit with you, let me at least give my reasoning for why I like both cars... -S4's are the torqueiest cars off the line. Any race you see with a s4 or rs4 launching will completely blast almost any car off the line. Reaching peak torque @1850 rpm will do that for ya... -With under a grand, you can easily reach 320 hp, yeah not much, but 390+ ft/lbs and awd mix pretty well. Plus, you're doin that at 1.5 bar of boost. German engines can't be compared to japanese engines when it comes to the boost setup, so i guess that's a pointless comment anyway. You get caught in the rain (as much fun as it is to spin tire and drift), and you'll get a nice view of an s4 rear. And they'll still do that with 5 people in the car. Not bad imo... -Add another few grand, and you have reilable 500+hp and 500+ft/lbs. Now you can do that with 300s, but I think it would only be respectful to give credit to the fact that it's an awd 4 door sedan, and it hooks up... Just a few thoughts, you may resume the bashing...
